FAQs

Rock climbing is part of the sport of climbing. In addition to being able to climb indoor halls, you can also climb on the rocks outside. The combination of mental challenge, technique, physical strength and skills has a great appeal for climbers. We would love to take you along on your first course meters, or during a recreational climbing trip!

From the Lesse Valley in the Ardennes, we organize climbing courses for all levels. From your first steps on the rock to specialization courses for the advanced climber. Less than three hours from the Netherlands, this is the perfect location to brush up on your knowledge, technique and experience on the rocks!

Single Pitch is climbing one (single) length of rope (pitch). The climber starts from the ground and climbs up by means of pre-climbing. Once at the top of the anchor, the climber converts the situation from pre-climbing to toprope, after which he is lowered again by the insurer.

Multi Pitch is climbing a route that consists of multiple (multi) rope lengths (pitches). The climber starts from the ground and climbs to the first anchor by means of pre-climbing. There, the climber builds a location and secures the second climber up. This repeats until the top of the route has been reached, after which the climbers descend by abseiling or walking.

Via ferrata (also known as via ferrata) is a sport in itself. In practice, this involves more than just correctly overclipping your via ferrata set. If you want to go out independently, you want to have the necessary safety knowledge. During the basic course, you will work on this, so that you can confidently set out on your own.
