Multi-pitch course (part 2)

During this second part of the multi-pitch course, you will take the final steps towards being able to climb multi-pitch routes independently. Where you learned the basics in the first part of the multi-pitch course, you'll complement your skills in this course with rescue techniques and half-rope climbing.
What will you do in part 2
During the multi-pitch course, you will take the step towards becoming a full-fledged, independent multi-pitch climber. Upon successful completion of this course, you will obtain your outdoor pre-climbing - multi-pitch climbing skills certificate and will be ready to climb multi-pitch routes independently. Do you also want to explore untouched terrain? Then you can then move on to the trad course - single pitch.
Where are you going to climb
The course takes place in one or more beautiful climbing areas in the Ardennes, such as Pont-à-Lesse, within walking distance of the base camp. Other areas are usually 25 minutes' drive from our base camp at Villatoile campsite. Transportation here is on your own; of course, we will set up a carpool schedule together.
Fully cared for
From our base camp, we provide a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner and a spot to pitch a tent. If you don't have a tent, you can rent a pop-up tent from us that we'll set up for you! We also have delicious drinks during an evening of relaxing and chatting with fellow students.

Yes, this is possible in consultation. Please contact us by email or phone so that we can coordinate the extra night.
Yes. You are welcome to visit the campsite where our Base Camp is located from 1:00 p.m.
Please note that the Base Camp is open from 16:00.

If there are no options, we must fall back on our cancellation policy.
Depending on the type of bad weather, the course will take place. In case of an occasional shower, you can simply climb. If rain is forecast for the entire weekend, we are forced to reschedule or cancel the weekend.
Yes. At Base Camp, you can charge your mobile devices. There is no electricity on the camping field. Are you coming with a motorhome or caravan and want a camping spot with electricity? Then this can be arranged at an additional cost (if space is available).
You don't get a discount with an NKBV membership. However, you do get a discount with the NKBV climbing year card.
