For anyone who enjoys training and climbing together every week.
Climbing Fit is a weekly training session where you train together with other climbers or boulderers, guided by one of our enthusiastic and experienced sport climbing coaches.
Looking for a climbing partner, want to learn how to train, or would you like some tips to improve your climbing level? Then Climbing Fit is for you!
Each week a coach designs a session focused on one of these areas: basic technique, strength, tactics or mental skills. Just finished your beginner's course? Then this is the ideal next step: you learn the right basic techniques straight away and meet other climbers. Been climbing for a while and stuck below 6b? Climbing Fit is also the perfect way for you to take that next step.
Physical
Physical training is about endurance, speed, strength, flexibility and coordination. The coach teaches you to train purposefully on the wall: not just climbing, but consciously working on your body. You'll get stronger, fitter and better able to send routes that used to be out of reach.
Technique
Good technique starts with learning efficient movement patterns. Think of footwork, using your centre of gravity, frontal versus diagonal movement and loading holds optimally. When you can combine several techniques, you climb more smoothly and use less energy on a route.
Mental
Whether it's your first fall or an exciting move high on the wall, everyone has their own limit. To keep developing, it's important to keep taking one step further. Climbing Fit helps you step outside your comfort zone consciously and safely, so you grow mentally stronger as a climber.
Tactics
Do you just start climbing, or do you make a plan first? Tactics is about reading routes, visualising, knowing your holds, time management and pace. The coach teaches you to read better and better what a route demands, a skill that lifts your climbing level considerably.
How to book
Because Climbing Fit only works if you do it regularly, we offer a weekly session.
