Indoor Lead Climbing Course (KVB-IV)
For the climber who wants more. Learn to lead climb and a world opens up!

Indoor Toprope Course (KVB-IT)
With this introductory course you'll learn the fundamentals of climbing: belaying, knot-tying, and climbing technique. After this course you can climb independently in any climbing gym in the Netherlands.

Introductory Bouldering Lesson
We will take you on a trip through the bouldering hall and teach you some of the basic techniques of bouldering (how to fall, solving problems) and, of course, what safety rules exist. This lesson lasts one hour and is suitable for anyone who wants to experience what it's like to boulder or who wants to go bouldering independently.

Introduction to climbing (toprope)
The introductory climbing lesson is really a first introduction to climbing. Suitable for anyone who would like to try climbing to a high altitude. Note: just like us, this sport can become a healthy obsession!

Frequently asked questions
No. Intro lessons, workshops, kids' parties and most company and school activities are made for people without experience. A certified instructor guides you step by step.
Bouldering means climbing without a rope on walls 4 to 5 metres high, above thick crash mats. With rope climbing you go up to 18 metres high, wearing a harness, with someone belaying you. To climb on a rope independently, you first need a climbing certificate (KVB-IT).
An NKBV membership or climbing pass doesn't give you a discount with us. A Climbing Network membership does: members get 10% off.
Guided climbing and bouldering is possible from age 7. Fun Climbing and Clip 'n Climb are suitable from age 5. The minimum age is listed on each activity's page.
