Mountain Beat: A New Chapter for Mountaineers
.webp)
For years, Mountain Network had one face: a wide range of products that brought everything together. From climbing in the hall and rock climbing courses in the Ardennes to an alpine climb in the Alps and expeditions outside Europe. That worked well, but at the same time, there was a realization: this broad palette was becoming too broad.
In 2025, it was therefore decided to privatize the mountaineering travel department. Mountain Network will focus on climbing and bouldering, both indoors and outdoors. The travel activities related to mountaineering, skiing, trekking and expeditions have been taken over by Erwin de Boer and Jelle Staleman. They will continue independently, under a new name: Mountain Beat.

What's changing?
We understand that a split can raise questions. With the arrival of Mountain Beat, we are making a clear split.
- Mountain Network remains the address for bouldering, sport climbing and rock climbing. From the climbing gym to courses in the Ardennes and rock climbing weeks in France or Spain. Here you'll find everything that revolves around climbing. Mountain Network is a specialist and expert in this field.
- Bee Mountain Beat you will find alpine trips, (touring) ski tours, hikes and expeditions. Think of basic alpine courses, climbs of four thousand meters, ski tours and trips to mountain areas outside Europe. In short: you'll find everything in the high mountains at Mountain Beat.
For you as a participant, little will change. You'll still be traveling with the same guides and instructors, with the same careful preparation and guidance.
The future of two brands
The split is not a farewell, but a new chapter. Mountain Network Outdoor continues as an expert in rock climbing, training and sports climbing trips. Mountain Beat is developing as a brand that revolves around (touring) skiing, mountaineering, trekking and expedition.
Mountaineering is always on the move, just like us. The mountains are always challenging us to make choices and find new ways. With the division, we are taking a step that comes with that: more focused, more personal, with attention to quality and experience.
Do you have questions about the split? Feel free to get in touch, we'll be happy to help you.
