Progress update National Climbing Center: October and November schedule

Over the coming weeks we're continuing to work on the National Climbing Center. The outdoor walls are opening, the climbing halls and the auto belay area are getting their permanent impact-absorbing floor, and the fitness room is being designed. Below you can read what happens when and what it means for your visit.
Outdoor climbing starting October 17
The outdoor walls are finished! Starting Saturday October 17th you can climb. The routes on the speed wall won't be set yet. With winter on its way, this will most likely happen in spring 2027.
Impact-absorbing floors: temporary closure of climbing areas
In October we're laying the permanent impact-absorbing floor in the 14m climbing hall, the auto belay area and the 18m climbing hall. Unfortunately, while the work is underway, climbing won't be allowed.
Please note: on Thursday October 15th the 14m climbing hall, the 18m climbing hall and the auto belay area are all closed.
From Friday October 16th you can climb in the 14m climbing hall and on the auto belay area again. Starting Saturday October 17th you can also climb on the outdoor walls. The 18m climbing hall stays closed up to and including October 29th.
Thanks for your patience during this time. With these floors we're taking another important step in finishing the NCC.
Strength & Conditioning from 4 November
On Tuesday November 3rd the Strength & Conditioning room will be designed with fitness equipment. Installation takes one day. From Wednesday November 4th you can train alongside your climbing or bouldering session.
Kilterboards and music
An update on the Kilterboards and the installation of the sound system at the NCC is coming soon. As soon as the schedule is known, we'll share it on this page.
Grand Opening on 14 November
On Saturday November 14th we celebrate the Grand Opening of the National Climbing Center! Come and discover the NCC and enjoy a day full of climbing, bouldering, clinics, demonstrations and Flashtest PRO with national and international top climbers.
Just want to look around and get to know the NCC? You're welcome free of charge. Separate tickets are available for climbing and bouldering yourself and for watching the Flashtest PRO finals.
View the program and book your tickets for the Grand Opening.
